About Us

The Renmin University of China North America Alumni Association (RUC NAAA) is a non-profit organization based on alumni relations, registered in the state of Delaware, USA, in June 2015, and obtained 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the US IRS in March 2018. The operational headquarters are located in New York City, with a member network spanning major cities in the United States and Canada. Our mission is to establish a communication platform for alumni to connect and share with each other, and to create more opportunities and channels for mutually beneficial and career development for alumni around the world. We are also committed to creating opportunities and platforms for promoting Sino-US exchanges. In 2023, RUCNAAA was named "Excellent Alumni Organization of Renmin University of China" by its alma mater again.

In December 2018, former US President Jimmy Carter specifically wrote to RUCNAAA: "It was hard to imagine forty years ago that elite Chinese universities like Renmin University could establish such active and strong alumni organizations in the United States. Your alumni association proves how much progress China has made and what a country can achieve by investing in education."

Our alumni association is still young, we are striving to explore, and win everyone's trust with our dedication and service. What we pursue is not the maximum personal interest and return, but to build a place that serves alumni and allows individual values to be recognized and reflected. May we unite the power of alumni and build the alumni association into a bridge of friendship, a platform for resources, a channel for dissemination, and a warm haven!

The organizational structure of the alumni association includes the board of directors and the management committee. The current chairman is Mr. Dawson Lee, and the president is Mr. Yafeng Wu.
